It was a disappointing end to Hendon's pre-season campaign as a visit to the West Midlands ended with a 3-0 defeat against Bromsgrove Sporting.

Already missing a number of first-team starters, the Greens suffered a blow when Liam Brooks limped off before two free headers gave the hosts a 2-0 half-time advantage.

Although Hendon huffed and puffed, chances were few and far between, the Greens' goalkeeper made a couple of further saves before Quba Gordon limped off and a late third goal completed a comfortable win for the home side.
