Following the Government's announcement on Tuesday about new restrictions to try and bring the current increase in COVID-19 cases under control we are still able to host football at Silver Jubilee Park with a maximum crowd of 600.
There are, however, further regulations now in place that will be in operation beginning with our home game against Truro City on Saturday afternoon.
The Football Association have now mandated that all track & trace must be carried out via the NHS COVID-19 app and not the evePass app as previously intended. The NHS app works in the same way as evePass by scanning a QR code that will be displayed on a poster upon entry at the ground. Once again, if you do not have a smartphone you will be able to register your details manually upon arrival.
Once inside the ground the outdoor tea bar will be open and serving hot and cold drinks as well as the usual range of hot and cold food. There are, however, some changes to entry to the clubhouse.
A new service will be in operations whereby supporters will be able to purchase drinks from the bar at the door to the clubhouse for those that wish to consume drinks outside. This will not necessitate the wearing of masks.
Anyone wishing to stand in, or enter the clubhouse for any reason will be required to wear a face mask unless exempt for medical reasons. If this is the case, we would appreciate it if you would be able to bring a doctor's letter with you.
All purchases from inside the clubhouse will be done via table service by staff wearing visors, masks and gloves. Please, where possible, make any payments via contactless means or by card to minimise the risk of any transmission via the handling of cash.
Once again, on behalf of Hendon Football Club and Silver Jubilee Park, we'd like to ask for your patience on Saturday whilst these new procedures bed-in and would like to thank everyone for their continuing understanding and support in making every effort to make Silver Jubilee Park COVID-19 safe.
We look forward to welcoming you all on Saturday afternoon for what promises to be an intriguing contest against one of the title favourites.
