Jayden Clarke's second half brace was in vain as a first half blitz from Kings Langley saw them to a 3-2 win at a chilly Orbital Fasteners Stadium this afternoon.
The hosts took the lead in the first minute and took advantage of two other lapses in the Hendon defence to take a 3-0 half-time lead.
Jayden Clarke netted with a superbly taken volley four minutes after the break and robbed a defender before expertly taking his second 8 minutes later to reduce the arrears.
Dwade James then hit the post and forced a brilliant save by the home goalkeeper in the dying seconds but the equaliser wasn't to be.
Next up for the Greens is a home friendly next week against St Albans City. We will release ticketing details for that one in the next day or two.
