Tomorrow sees us make the journey up to Hertfordshire to take on Kings Langley in our latest pre-season test in what will see us showcase our brand new sky blue away kit ahead of the new campaign.

Under the stewardship of Chris Cummins, Lango finished in 10th place in their first season in the Southern League Central Premier Division, only three points outside the play-off places and with games in hand.

Moved across from our league in the summer of 2019, the club shook off the pre-season departure of Steve Conroy and early season departure of Dean Barker to regroup under the stewardship of Cummins with a squad that contained a number of familiar long-term faces such as Callum Adebiyi, Jorrell Johnson and Mitch Weiss as well as some seasoned ex-pros such as Lloyd Doyley and Will Hoskins. The signing of former Hemel talisman Jordan Parkes midway through the season and was a a marker of intent for the upwardly mobile club.

We have met three times competitively in the past, the Greens winning 3-1 in a 2017/8 FA Trophy tie thanks to a couple of Niko Muir goals and one from Dave Diedhiou. The following season Lango did the double over us in the league with a 3-1 win at the Orbital Fasteners Stadium and a 2-1 win at SJP.

Admission tomorrow is £5 and by contactless payment only. The bar will be open but with strict social distancing measures in place and the crowd will be capped at 300.

Kings Langley have asked where possible that supporters register for the evePass track & trace app. Simply download it onto your smartphone via the Android or Apple store, register your details and then either scan the QR code on entry to the ground, or enter the 6-digit code into the app. This will speed your entry into the stadium.
