Tomorrow evening sees us take on local neighbours Wingate & Finchley in the semi-final of the London Senior Cup for the right to meet Brentford B or Erith Town in the final next week.

Wingate, who had been traditional league rivals over the decade or so prior to our move to the Southern League have also been regular cup opponents over the years as well - whilst, of course, back in the Amateur days Finchley were also very regular opponents both in league and cups.

We last met back in November in the Middlesex Senior Cup in a game which Spencer Knight's men won 3-1 thanks to goals from Charlie Ruff, Alan Fleming and Henry Ochieng. Reece Mitchell scored the Greens' consolation on the night.

Our recent record against Wingate is not one to write home about with the Blues undefeated in our previous 9 meetings in all competitions dating back to March 2016, not including the penalty shoot-out win in this competition back in October 2017. That run includes four draws and five defeats.

Prior to that, Hendon had won the previous four meetings including a comeback from 3-0 down in the Isthmian League Cup to win 4-3 and, of course, the two sides met in the final of this competition back in 2011 when the Blues comfortably won 3-1 at Tooting & Mitcham FC.

Our complete competitive record against Wingate is:

Played 26
Won 11 (inc. 1 penalty shoot-out win)
Drawn 5
Lost 10 (inc. 1 penalty shoot-out defeat)
Goals For: 51
Goals Against: 45

A reminder to all fans that tomorrow's match is strictly by invite only as we test the protocols and safeguarding procedures that we have in place. We have a list of attendees and anyone not on the list will not be able to enter the ground.

Thanks once again to you all for your continuing patience and understanding.
