Tomorrow our pre-season preparations continue with a visit to Arlesey Town, a club Lee Allinson knows very well a he's strongly involved with the youth-teams at the Bedfordshire club.

Managed by former goalkeeper Chico Ramos, Arlesey were 16th in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League when the 2019/20 season was curtailed, albeit with games in hand on some of those above them.

Their pre-season campaign kicked off on Saturday with a 3-0 reverse at Kempston Rovers who we were due to visit this coming weekend before the London Senior Cup intervened.

The two clubs have met three times in competitive matches previously with the Greens winning all three. A 4-3 Isthmian League Cup win in a game that saw future Premier League striker Dave Kitson amongst the substitutes for Arlesey in September 2000 was followed up two years later with a 2-1 win in the same competition at Claremont Road - Paul Towler and Ricci Crace with the goals.

The most recent meeting between the two sides was an FA Cup tie at Claremont Road in September 2006 which the Greens won 4-0, goals from Wayne O'Sullivan, Lee O'Leary, Dean Green and Jamie Busby doing the damage.

Once again unfortunately this fixture will be played behind closed doors, we will aim to provide some level of live updates via Twitter and Football Web Pages as we did on Saturday afternoon.
