Richard Wilmot was the hero for Hendon this afternoon as he saved a late penalty to enable the Greens to pick up a point at Heybridge Swifts in a 0-0 draw. The penalty was taken by Craig Hughes, who spent a month on loan at Claremont Road from Colchester United a couple of seasons ago, after Marc Leach had brought down a Heybridge player in the box. Hendon's best chance fell to Ben Hudell who saw his 7th minute shot hit the woodwork, but throughout the game, Hendon were the better side and played the better football.
