A Hendon side down to the bare bones produced a performance full of character and no little quality to secure a point from the midweek visit to Taunton.
After Harry Kite's snap shot had given the hosts the lead on 22 minutes the Hendon response was instant with Luca Allinson tying things up with his first goal for the club that took a deflection on its way in,
Joe White netted with a fierce strike that cannoned off the underside of the bar on its way in and Simeon Olalerin's scuffed effort that bobbled over the foot of Lloyd Irish gave Hendon a 3-1 half time lead.
The hosts piled on the pressure in the second half with Matt Wright reducing the arrears midway through the half. Hendon looked threatening on the break but eventually the home side's pressure told and Wright planted a header beyond Jonathan North to ensure the points were shared in an entertaining, pulsating encounter.
