Long time supporter and former Hendon goalkeeper Andy Vincent is once again arranging the 'Les and Cheesy' Memorial Cup in honour of his father, Les, and fellow Hendon supporter Steve Cheesewright who both lost their respective battles against Cancer a few years ago.
The match will take place on Monday 6th April, kicking off at 6:30pm at Silver Jubilee Park between a Hendon Invitational XI, which will include some former players and The Old Bellgate, from Hemel Hempstead with donations being accepted on the day and split equally between MacMillan Cancer Trust and Prostate Cancer UK, both of whom are hoping to be able to provide volunteers on the evening to attend the game.
All supporters are invited to attend to remember two men who had Hendon Football Club at the centre of their lives and who are still fondly remembered and very sadly missed.
