Hendon aim to make it 7 wins in a row as they host Hayes & Yeading at Silver Jubilee Park tomorrow afternoon. Both teams are flying high in the form table with Hayes having won 5 and lost 1 of their last 6 whilst Hendon have won six in a row for the first time in almost five years.
Hendon's last fixture saw a comfortable win over bottom of the table Dorchester with goals from Tommy Brewer, Joe White and Simeon Olarerin sealing the 3 points for the Greens. Meanwhile, Hayes made the trip to Yate Town where a brace from ex-Green Francis Amartey saw them return down the M4 with the 3 points.
Hendon and Hayes have already gone to battle on 3 different occasions this season. The first was the classic FA cup tie in October, where the hosts Hayes advanced into the next round with a 5-4 victory over the Greens. Hendon were 4-1 down at one point but rallied to draw level at 4-4 before a late penalty saw the hosts progress. Hayes also won the next meeting in the league, as they hosted the Greens again and won 3-2. Hendon finally got a win in the third fixture between the two clubs at home in the League Cup after a penalty shootout win.
Both clubs will be aiming to keep their fine form going as we meet for the 4th time this campaign.
