Hendon gained a valuable win this afternoon at a soaking wet Silver Jubilee Park against fellow strugglers Beaconsfield Town.
A goalless first half that saw chances at both ends burst into life towards the end when Kameron English was adjudged to have gone in high and late on Mayo Balogun and shown a red card.
Beaconsfield then had the better of the opening stages of the second period but found Chris Grace in belligerent mood before Charlie Lossaso's 20-yard strike took a touch and flew beyond Grace to give the visitors the lead.
The lead lasted only a minute when the ball fell kindly for Tom Hamblin to fire home his first goal for the club.
With 7 minutes to go Balogun headed the ball back to Myles Bowman, however the goalkeeper who, up until that point had made three excellent saves, lost the ball in the wet conditions and Isaac Galliford marked his debut with a simple tap in to secure the three points.
