David Ballheimer met up with two players of the past earlier this week at an event celebrating football in Essex in the 1970s.
Former Hendon stars Peter Deadman and Peter Anderson both wish the club well. The two men, who played for Hendon in the 1970s and early 80s, still look amazingly fit and well. Deadman, of course, is one of the most-capped players in England Amateur football history and played in both the 1972 Amateur Cup final and against Newcastle United in the 1974 FA Cup fourth round.
