Saturday's game with Salisbury falls on the latest Non League Day. With large sections of the EFL and, of course, the Premier League on their international break, Non-League clubs have the chance to put themselves in the spotlight and show just what the game below the top-four levels has to offer.
This season we are honoured to play host to a number of friends and family who will be at Silver Jubilee Park to remember Luca Roberts, who tragically passed away in the summer. Luca attended his first Hendon game at the age of 2 and was a regular home and away for many years before moving down to the South-West. Even then, Hendon's results were the first he looked out for thanks to the advent of Social Media.
Luca's dad, Bryan - who most of you will know as our PA man and Supporters Trust board member, has arranged to sponsor the game, matchball and programme along with the rest of his family, whilst we will be delighted to welcome Henry Pearson, Caleb Meldrum and Abel Aldous as mascots for the afternoon. We will be holding a minute's applause in Luca's memory prior to kick-off and invite everyone who knew or remembers Luca to raise a glass in his honour.
Any season ticket holder at any of the 92 League or Premier League clubs will be eligible for reduced concessionary entry (6 pounds) upon production of their season ticket at the turnstile - this is a prime opportunity for Hendon regulars to bring a friend along to show them what Non-League football has to offer.
Finally, we will be holding the bucket collection in aid of the Non-League Day partner charity, Prostate Cancer UK - Please give as generously as you can.
