Our busy schedule of games continues tomorrow evening as we entertain Canvey Island at Vale Farm.

This is our first game against the Essex side this season, the return fixture comes on the penultimate weekend of the season. The Islanders have been on the fringes of the play-off chase for much of the season, although they stumbled on Saturday when they lost 3-1 at Tonbridge Angels. They currently lie in 10th place, 5 points off the play-offs, and 5 points ahead of us.

Last season, we had the upper hand over Canvey, Firstly we drew 1-1 at Park Lane, James Bent scoring the goal. The home fixture was played at Staines Town where we won 2-0, the goals coming from Harry Hunt and a Ryan Oliva own goal.

Gary McCann will be hoping that the Greens can continue their excellent defensive displays of recent games, but also that the Canvey keeper is tested during the game at the other end.

Tomorrow evening's game will kick off at 7.45pm as normal.
