Hendon produced their most complete 90 minutes of the season to overcome a very strong Chesham United side 3-1 at Silver Jubilee Park.
After Chris Grace made a couple of vital first half saves, Tahjae Anderson marked his first Hendon start with a well taken solo goal from 20-yards out eight minutes before the break.
Connor Calcutt then extended the lead on 72 minutes tapping into an empty net after Ryan Hope's drive had hit the post before Dernell Wynter reduced the arrears with a free header from a corner eleven minutes later.
Charlie Smith made sure of the points though with a brilliantly taken free-kick from fully 25 yards as the game entered stoppage time leaving the visitors with too much to do to get back into the game.
The result lifts the Greens one place into 15th in the table ahead of Saturday's visit to Yate Town.
