Hendon were left rueing a number of missed chances this afternoon as they lost 3-2 at East Thurrock United. A number of chances went begging in the first 20 minutes before the hosts scored with their first clear chance when Leli Bajada headed home. Six minutes later Jamie Richards doubled the lead and in the 32nd minute Steve West scored from the penalty spot. Hendon battled in the second half and pulled a goal back in the 81st minute when Brian Haule fired home. Wayne O'Sullivan made it 3-2 in the final minute of normal time and just a minute later the comeback was almost completed when O'Sullivan had a chance but was unable to get enough power on his shot.
