Hendon's run of three home pre-season matches began with a single goal defeat at the hands of Isthmian League side FC Romania this evening.

In a feisty encounter in which both sides struck the crossbar in the opening 45-minutes, it was the visitors that got the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time.

Next up for the Greens is a game against St Albans City at Silver Jubilee Park on Saturday, kick-off at 3pm.
