Following last season's guide to sides in the Southern League, Greensnet has compiled a guide to our new opponents who we will meet in the coming season beginning with Blackfield and Langley.

Formed in 1935 the club spent its formative years competing in junior leagues around Southampton before moving into the Hampshire League in 1949.

After spending many years in Divisions 3 and 4 at county league level the club gained promotion to Division 2 in 1981/2 and three years later into the top flight after winning the title. In 1997/8 they won the Division 1 championship and the Southampton Senior Cup however were denied promotion due to ground grading issues, however these were rectified and by the turn of the century had gained promotion into the Wessex League.

After finishing as runners-up in Division 1 of the Wessex League in 2007/8, they won the Premier Division in 2012/3 however chose not to accept promotion into the Southern League due to costs associated with improving the ground. They won the title again in 2017/8 and then last season made it two titles on the trot by winning the Southern League Division 1 South title to gain promotion to step 3 for the first time.
