This afternoon Silver Jubilee Park plays host to a charity football match as part of Dementia Action Week.
There will be a walking football match at 2pm between the Hendon FC Community side and a side made up of Silver Jubilee Park employees before the main charity game kicks off at 3pm.
We are delighted that Russell Grant, a patron of Middlesex and friend of Middlesex football club as well as a huge advocate of dementia charity work will be in attendance as will the Mayor of Brent.
All proceeds from the afternoon will go towards helping those with dementia in the London Borough of Brent in partnership with Quintain, Ashford Place and CAD Brent and go towards making SJP a dementia friendly community hub by 2020.
All are welcome to attend - entry is £3 and the clubhouse will be open as usual for refreshments.
