Hendon came home with their fourth consecutive point this afternoon, going ahead twice in an entertaining 3-3 draw at Wimborne Town. Ryan Hope drew first blood midway through the first half before Luke Burbidge drew the home side level. However, just before half-time Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick put the blue shirted visitors back ahead with a penalty after a fellow Hendon player was judged to be wrestled to the ground.
Wimborne made an astute half-time substitution, bringing on Toby Holmes who scored twice in 20 minutes to put the in-form side ahead for the first time. Jimmy Gray's squad, however, have found some renewed bite of late and they dug in to equalise just two minute later through Darren Locke. Of the Greens' recent run of draws, this was undoubtedly the hardest achieved and will put the side in strong spirits ahead of next week's visit to Merthyr Town.
