We are pleased to announce the addition of Nick Archer to the Board of Directors of Hendon Football Club (2008) Limited.
Nick has a longstanding affinity with non-league football and his experience will be of great benefit to the Club on many fronts. His football CV includes being Chairman of St Albans City when they were promoted from the Southern League into the National League in 2014, with Jimmy Gray as his manager.
Nick commented this morning: "Becoming a director of Hendon Football Club is an honour and a privilege. I am looking forward to working with the football club Board members, the Trust and the Supporters Association in order to support the ambitions of the Club on and off the pitch.
"I picture the possibility of the Greens gaining promotion to the National League and becoming wholly competitive at that level. I am excited by the opportunity and the challenges that lie ahead."
Chairman Simon Lawrence said: "I have got to know Nick over the last few months and I am really pleased that he has agreed to join our Board, his knowledge of the workings of a semi-professional football club are second to none. Amongst other things, Nick will bring an external perspective that the current Board lacks as well as experience of Step 2 football.
"Please welcome Nick to the club and to Silver Jubilee Park."
