Hendon remain in top spot despite dropping two points this evening in a thrilling encounter at Ashford Town (Middlesex) that ended 4-4. The Greens took an early lead through Belal Aiteouakrim but Ashford equalised almost immediately. Dean Green restored the lead in the 22nd minute, but two quick goals ensured that Ashford went into the break leading 3-2. Shortly before the break Richard Wilmot saved a penalty from Paul Johnson. Brian Haule equalised for Hendon early in the second half, and then Aiteouakrim made it 4-3 in the 73rd minute. However, the hosts had the last laugh as they scored a last minute equaliser.
