The first team had a comfortable 5-1 win over Staines Town this evening, with Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick scoring his first hat-trick for the club.
The opening goal came in the 23rd minute when Gianni Crichlow delivered a superb cross for Connor Calcutt to slip the ball home, and that was the only score of the first half.
The second half opened in perfect fashion as Calcutt scored his second within a couple of minutes, and in the 54th minute Hippolyte-Patrick scored his first of the evening with an overhead strike.
Nine minutes later Hippolyte-Patrick scored his second of the evening, dribbling into the box and finding a route to goal. Staines pulled a goal back with ten minutes to go when Makhosini Ryan Khanye scored an excellent free kick, but within two minutes Hippolyte-Patrick completed his hat-trick with his second overhead kick of the evening.
The result moves the Greens up to 4th place in the table ahead of Saturday's trip to Tiverton Town.
