The under 23s won again tonight, this time overcoming a tough test from Hayes & Yeading United with a 2-1 win.

The visitors took the lead in the 5th minute, and it took a while for the young Greens to get into the game, but they did so in the 32nd minute when Riccardo Alexander-Greenaway found the back of the net. Three minutes later Khalil Francis-Owuaha put the Greens ahead, a lead they were to hold on to for the rest of the game.

Our best wishes go to the Hayes & Yeading United number 7, who had given them the lead early on, who picked up what appeared to be a nasty knee injury midway through the second half. He was stretchered off and taken straight to hospital after the game. We wish him a speedy recovery.
