As we await the date for our FA Cup match, maybe you'd like to see how underdogs Darwen FC, a working class team from the north of England, took on the Old Etonians back in 1879.
Ardent football fan and actor Andrew Pearson Wright has written a play "The Giant Killers", about this historic battle.
It's on at The Gatehouse Theatre, Highgate from 30th October to 4th November, and at Stantonbury Theatre in Milton Keynes on 28th October.
And because his wife, Eve Pearson Wright co-wrote it, it's appeal is not only for football fans. Anyone who is on the side of equality, social justice and passion will really enjoy this play. It premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe last year to rave reviews.
So take your partner, mum, dad or anyone who'll enjoy a special evening out as a change from watching Hendon FC. And who's to say Hendon won't be the Giantkillers of 2018? (Note that in 1883, the original Hendon club beat Old Etonians in the first round of the FA Cup!)"
