The first team picked up a point in their first ever Southern League game after drawing 1-1 with Frome Town.
On a damp afternoon, in which the rain got heavier as the game went on, the first half was goalless with chances at a premium.
The opening goal came in the 69th minute when Ricardo German, one of eleven debutants - eight starters and three substitutes - lifted the ball over a crowd of players into the top corner from five yards.
Unfortunately the Greens were unable to hold on for all three points when the home side bundled the ball home as the game moved into stoppage time.
Next up is a home game against Walton Casuals on Tuesday evening. Kick off at SJP is at 7:45pm.
