We've met Tiverton Town just once, in the FA Trophy in January 2001 when the Devon side ran out 2-1 winners at Claremont Road.
Tiverton were formed as Tiverton Athletic in 1913 joining the East Devon League, which they won four years in a row in the 1920's, before joining the North Devon League which they won in 1932, and then the Exeter & District League which they won in 1934. They won the league again in 1952, 1965 and 1966 and transferred to the Western League in 1973.
They won the FA Vase in 1998, beating Tow Law Town, and in 1999, beating Bedlington Terriers, and joined the Southern League in 1999 having finished as runners up in the Western League. In 2001 they finished second in Division One West and were promoted to the Premier Division, where they remained in 2011, winning the League Cup in 2007. They dropped back to Division One, but returned to the Premier Division in 2017, finishing 6th last season.
