As some supporters will be aware, Matt Ball announced on twitter a few days ago that he has signed for Biggleswade Town, who will be playing in the Southern League Central Premier Division next season.

Matt originally joined us midway through the 2016-17 season and played a key part in ensuring our survival from relegation. He was with us throughout last season, other than a two month loan spell at Kings Langley, and made a total of 60 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Oliver Sprague's loan from Billericay Town ended after the play-off final, and he has since been released by the Bostik League champions thus becoming a free agent. Despite Ollie's season being hit by injury, he took his appearance total during his three spells with the club to 148, and his goal tally to 7 - and this season was actually his most prolific with us, scoring 3 goals.

We thank both players for their efforts during their time with us, and wish them well for the future (although who knows - Ollie may yet return for a another spell with us).
