It has just been announced by the FA that our 55 year stay in the Isthmian League has come to an end, and we have been transferred across to the Southern League for the 2018-19 season. Three other Isthmian League sides have been transferred across, Harrow Borough, Metropolitan Police and Staines Town.
The provisional line-up of the division is as follows: Banbury United, Basingstoke Town, Beaconsfield Town, Chesham United, Dorchester Town, Farnborough, Frome Town, Gosport Borough, Harrow Borough, Hartley Wintney, Hendon, Kings Langley, Merthyr Town, Metropolitan Police, Poole Town, Salisbury, Staines Town, Swindon Supermaine, Taunton Town, Tiverton Town, Walton Casuals and Weymouth.
There are plenty of new places for us to visit, as well as a number of renewed rivalries as we head south and west, rather than south and east as we have been doing over the past few years.
