It is with sadness that we have learnt this evening of the passing of former manager Barrie Williams, who was in charge of the club in the 1992-93 season before emigrating to Spain.

Barrie, who is best known for being the manager of Sutton United when they beat Coventry City in the FA Cup in 1989, also had a spell in charge of the England Women's team in 1991.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
