It was another Thursday goalfest in the league this evening, with 15 goals across the three games played. Most importantly for us is that Staines Town were beaten 4-2 at Metropolitan Police, meaning they remain five points behind us, having played the same number of games as our focus now turns to Saturday's game against Merstham.
Elsewhere, Jake Robinson scored a hat-trick as Billericay Town beat Needham Market 5-0, whilst Dorking Wanderers drew 2-2 with Wingate & Finchley. Robinson's goals mean that he moves above Niko Muir in the leading goalscorer charts, now with 33 - Niko has 32 - but Elliot Buchanan continues to lead the way as he netted for Staines this evening, taking his tally to 34.
