Despite having to play with ten men for an hour, the first team came away from Kingstonian with a very creditable point following a goalless draw.
Casey Maclaren was the man sent off for two yellow cards, the first for a mistimed tackle, and the second on the half hour mark for handball when going for a corner.
Chances through the game were at a premium at either end, the Greens defence holding firm and keeping the home side at bay. Meanwhile, going forward the ten men had plenty of possession, especially in the second half, but were unable to fashion any clear cut chances.
With Staines and Margate drawing 2-2, the Greens remain in fourth place going into the midweek fixtures. Elsewhere in the title and play-off race, Billericay came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Wingate & Finchley, allowing Dulwich to close the gap to one point after a 2-1 win over Thurrock. Leiston won 2-0 at Burgess Hill Town, Leatherhead drew 1-1 at Merstham whilst Folkestone Invicta lost 5-3 at Dorking Wanderers.
