The website team received an update on Tom Lovelock from Gary McCann a few minutes ago.

As many supporters who were at the game will have heard, Tom suffered a very nasty gash to the knee when trying to prevent the only goal of the game and had to be stretchered off and replaced by Daniel Purdue.

Tom has been to hospital, and has received a total of 18 stitches, 8 on the inside of the wound and 10 on the outside.

Everyone at the club wishes Tom well for a speedy recovery.
