The first team were indebted to a late late equaliser from Zak Joseph to ensure something was taken from today's game against Burgess Hill Town, the final score being 2-2.

The performance was far less dominating than last week, and it took until just before half time for the Greens to take the lead when Dave Diedhiou bundled the ball home.

Burgess Hill were much improved on last week and equalised in the 89th minute when Aaron Smith-Joseph found the back of the net. Within a couple of minutes they had taken the lead through Pat Harding and it looked as though all three points were going back to Sussex.

However, a Burgess Hill defender committed a foul a couple of yards outside the box, and Joseph stepped up to fire home a fine free kick much to the relief of his teammates and the Greens supporters.
