Our league fixture tomorrow sees us travel down to West Sussex to play Horsham. Supporters are reminded that Horsham are now playing at Horsham YMCA's ground at Goring's Mead.
Like ourselves, Horsham have suffered with postponements over the past couple of months. Their last game saw them win 4-1 at home against Ashford Town (Middlesex) ten days ago, with Tony Nwachukwu, Alex Haddow, Pat Harding and Adam Hutchings finding the back of the net. The Hornets currently lie in 9th place in the table just two points off the play-offs.
Gary McCann will be hoping that the Greens build on the decent performance against Boreham Wood and get some more points on the board as we continue through this busy period of fixtures.
The last two games against Horsham will be remembered for the wrong reasons, with serious injuries happening. A year ago Lee O'Leary, who has now returned to action, broke his leg in the game at Worthing, whilst back in December, Gary Charman received a double fracture to the cheekbone at Vale Farm. Charman is still out of action, and is continuing to receive treatment at Northwick Park Hospital. He is unlikely to play again this season, and everyone at Hendon wishes him well for a successful recovery.
Supporters are reminded that there is a coach running to the game, leaving Vale Farm at 10.45am. If you would like to travel on the coach, please email Steve Rogers on steve_rogers2506@btinternet.com before 10pm this evening.
If there are any inspections arranged, we will update the website as soon as we get that news. Otherwise, it is safe to assume that the game is going ahead as planned.
