The first team progressed comfortably into the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy thanks to a 3-1 win over Kings Langley. All the goals came in the first half, with the Greens holding on without any major scares in the second period.

It was Niko Muir who opened the scoring in the 18th minute when he turned home a pulled back cross from Zak Joseph, and Matt Ball doubled the lead with a fine strike from the edge of the area. Calum Adebiyi pulled a goal back in the 32nd minute, but Dave Diedhiou headed home another cross from Joseph four minutes later.

The draw for the next round is made on Monday, and we'll bring news of our opponents as soon as we can through the usual channels.
