In a game that was mostly played in heavy snow, Hendon slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Boreham Wood. The game saw two penalties, two red cards, but fortunately the snow didn't lay and the Meadow Park pitch stood up to the elements superbly.
The Greens took the lead in the 34th minute when Jamie Busby converted a spot kick after Bradley Thomas had been pulled down in the box. Things were level two minutes into the second half when Mario Noto also converted a penalty following a foul.
Noto was in the action again in the 59th minute when he was dismissed for a second caution, both for mistimed challenges. Thomas followed him just a minute later, when he picked up a needless second caution for kicking out at an opposition player.
The home side secured the points in the 73rd minute when James Parker could only deflect the ball into the net.
