The first team made it seven wins in seven home league games this evening, moving to the top of the table in the process. Needham Market were on the receiving end of a 1-0 win.

The only goal of the game came in the 25th minute when Zak Joseph saw his shot saved by Danny Gay, but he was quickest to react when he headed the ball over the prone Gay into the net.

The Greens defence was once again in fine form keeping the Needham attacks at bay, whilst at the other end, the visiting defence, led superbly by Keiran Morphew, worked hard to ensure the Greens were unable to add to their tally.

Next up for the Greens is a trip to Worthing on Saturday afternoon.
