Niko Muir was the hero this evening as he scored all three goals in a 3-0 victory over Enfield Town - only the second time the Greens have won a league game since our opponents were formed.
The opening goal came in the 7th minute when Muir finished off a fine move and just twelve minutes later he had doubled the lead after more good work by the midfield and forwards.
Enfield were given a lifeline early in the second half when they were awarded a penalty, but Tom Lovelock was able to save the spot-kick from Drew Roberts. Not long afterwards Muir completed his hat-trick, sweeping the ball home past former Hendon keeper Joe Wright.
The Greens had further chances to score, but Wright made a number of good saves, whilst the defence held firm to ensure the clean sheet was secured.
