The Greens will be looking to pick up another three points tomorrow evening when they return to Kent, this time to face Maidstone United.
The Stones have today parted company with joint-managers Alan Walker and Lloyd Hume, who felt that they had taken the club as far as they could having taken over when the club were playing in the Kent League. There has been no announcement yet on who will be taking over.
Maidstone have lost their last three games, although only one of those was in the league and that was a 2-0 defeat at Aveley on Saturday. Their season has been disrupted by their long delayed FA Trophy tie against Histon, which was finally played at the sixth attempt due to the pitch at Homelands being either waterlogged, frozen or snowbound.
Supporters are reminded that Maidstone are playing at Ashford Town's Homelands stadium, the address of which is Ashford Road, Kingsnorth, Ashford, Kent, TN26 1NJ. Unfortunately for those travelling by public transport, the ground is 4 miles from the station, and buses are limited.
Admission prices at the ground are £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £4 for under 16s.
Unfortunately we will be unable to operate our normal livescores service tomorrow evening, but it is worth checking the Maidstone website as they may be carrying live commentary on the game.
Should there be any pitch inspections arranged, details of these will appear on the website and messageboard as soon as we hear. If there are no updates, please assume that the game is going ahead as planned.
