This afternoon's game saw 17 year old Keagan Cole make his 50th appearance for the club, celebrating with his 8th goal of the season.
Keagan, who joined our under 18 side at the beginning of last season, made his first team debut as a 75th minute substitute for Dave Diedhiou in a 2-0 win over Lewes just 13 months ago, and went on to make 12 appearances before the end of last season.
It took him a few weeks to break back into the first team this season, but he has gone on to be a firm fixture in the side with his name appearing regularly on the scoresheet. The only two players to make more appearances than Keagan this season are Luke Tingey and Arthur Lee.
Everyone congratulates Keagan on reaching the 50 appearance mark at such a young age, and we hope to see him in Hendon colours making many more appearances in the future.
Note : Today is his 51st appearance if the result of the abandoned game against AFC Sudbury stands. The appearances from that game will be added to the statistics if it's not replayed. If that's the case - he still scored in his 50th appearance as he scored last week against Needham Market.
