The first team dropped back into the relegation zone this afternoon following their 5-2 defeat at leaders Needham Market, a game in which all the goals came in the first 39 minutes.
As was the case on Tuesday, the Greens were two goals down inside 12 minutes, with Joe Whight and Luke Ingram netting, before Karl Oliyide equalised on the half hour mark.
Ingram scored again moments later, before Kem Izzet converted a penalty, only for Ingram to complete his hat-trick in the 37th minute. Two minutes later Reis Stanislaus scored a second for the Greens.
There was no further goals, as is often the case after a high scoring first half, and the second half was only noteworthy for the debuts of the three new signings from the substitutes bench.
There is now a 9 day break before the next game, when we entertain bottom of the table Harrow Borough at SJP on Boxing Day - kick off is at 3:00pm.
