The first teams search for the first home league win at SJP continues after they were beaten 3-1 by Leatherhead this afternoon.
In a first half where the Greens were lacking cohesion and energy, Leatherhead scored twice, Anthony Mendes putting them in front after 6 minutes, and Mohammed Sagaf doubling the lead on the half hour mark.
The second half saw a much improved performance from the home side, particularly after the introduction of Leon Smith and Reis Stanislaus, although in the 75th minute Mendes extended the visitors lead. Stanislaus pulled a goal back five minutes later but it was no more than a consolation and Leatherhead returned to Surrey with a thoroughly deserved three points.
