Gary McCann was far from happy with the performance against Wembley. He said, "We found a way to progress and that is almost the only positive. There were too many indifferent performances.
"A number of players were given the chance to sTake a claim for a place in the team for Saturday and the run of games coming up, but too many of them let themselves down.
"I am looking for reliability and a level of consistency in performance in the next few games. That is not too much to ask, is it? As a result there will be changes to squad and some players may be leaving.
"But there are two players who I do want to highlight in a positive way.
"Firstly, I was very pleased with the performance of Keagan Cole and he scored his first competitive goal for the club.
"Secondly, I want to congratulate Casey Maclaren on reaching 300 appearances. His level of performance on the pitch is of a consistency we've we’ve just talked about. I thank him for his loyalty to me and the club. This deserves a lot of praise."
