Hendon were thoroughly outplayed in all departments this afternoon by Carshalton Athletic. The Robins, who had only scored 17 goals in the league so far this season, ran out comprehensive 5-0 winners, and it was a thoroughly deserved win for the Surrey side. The opening goal came in the 36th minute courtesy of Tony Quinton to make it 1-0 at half-time. Three quick goals early in the second half took the game away from the Greens, before Michael Johnson completed the scoring in the 73rd minute.
