Gary McCann was raging after Hendon's 2-0 London Senior Cup final defeat against Tooting & Mitcham United on Wednesday night.
"The performance is even more disappointing than losing the game," he said. "It was a Cup Final so normally getting over the line is the only thing that matters. But this performance was just so unacceptable.
"After the game, I spoke to their manager, shook him by the hand and congratulated him. Tooting thoroughly deserved to win the game 2-0.
"Too many of our players had very poor games and to have only one effort on target - Casey Maclaren's header - tells its own story. We had a great chance to score when it was still 1-0 and it might have been a different story if that had gone in.
"It is now time for evaluation of the whole squad. I have a lot of work to in considering everyone in every position and deciding on the way forward. This has been my most difficult season yet and I consider it a complete write off."
