The club was saddened to hear of the death of long-time supporter Gerry Harrison, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday evening.
Gerry followed Hendon for over 50 years and was a regular at Claremont Road, Vale Farm and, more recently, Earlsmead. A passionate fan who said what he thought, he supporterd the club in his own unique style but all he ever really wanted was for Hendon to win.
Gerry's fondest Hendon memories went all the way back to the 'Glory Years' of the mid-70s and, while he never stopped attending matches, his thoughts would often turn to 'Newcastle away' and all those other trips he made when he was a young man.
The club would like to pass on its condolences to Gerry's son, Roger, and to the rest of the family.
