Hendon Football Club are pleased to announce that they will be holding an evening with Tony Currie on Friday 26th February at Silver Jubilee Park. Doors will open at 7pm.
Local to Claremont Road growing up, Tony went on to enjoy a distinguished career with Sheffield United, Leeds United, QPR and Watford, winning full England honours along the way before a short spell with the Greens in the early 80s. Of course, Tony's brother Paul was a popular figure at Hendon and his nephew, Darren, also enjoyed a productive spell with the club a few years ago.
In what promises to be an interesting and insightful evening, Tony will share stories from his career and answer questions from those in attendance.
Tickets for the evening are £10 and will be on sale at Tuesday evening's game with Croydon, and at all games thereafter, and should be available on the day as well.
Refreshments, including food, will be available from the bar throughout the evening.
Whether a supporter of Sheffield United, Leeds United, QPR, Watford, Hendon or football from a by-gone era, we look forward to welcoming you all to SJP.
