Despite a few days off for the Christmas break, building work has now begun again at SJP.
The new toilet extension has had its stud walls erected and drainage around the building is now complete. Building control will inspect the joists on Monday before the plaster boards can be fixed into place.
Tom Stockman and a few volunteers demolished the old stage in the club house to create an area that will be transformed into a third changing room. This room will also be a physiotherapy and rehabilitation area used on training nights. Builders are due to start on Sunday 10th January and this should be finished in a week.
On Monday the contractors fitting the spectator rails and perimeter fencing are due onsite to commence work. The schedule of works enable us to fit the spectator rail in sections and not effect activities on the pitch. The rail and the fencing will be in green reflecting club colours but also aesthetically appealing.
There will be a number of advertising and sponsorship opportunities for both companies and individuals around the ground. If you are interested in the rate card please email the club on admin@hendonfc.net and we'll put you in touch with Rob Morris.
