The first team suffered a pre-Christmas defeat at the hands of Leiston despite a second half comeback in which they scored two goals in a minute.

The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute through Gareth Heath, and after Christy Finch had scored in the 49th and 66th minutes it looked like game over.

However, a quickfire double from Ben Pattie and Adam Wallace pulled the Greens back into the game, but Joe Francis made the points safe for Leiston in stoppage time.
